Pride

Life has taught me so much. And I have come to embrace the best school in  life which is life itself. In the process, I have kept on wondering, "why are people very proud? But why?"

You enter a supermarket where you have been a customer for years, but because this time you have come with a proposal to supply them with a product, they become so proud?  For sure, what makes man to feel that he is so special and has liberty to ignore another?

You may be a doctor, lawyer, banker, chef, name it. You think you are special because you have a Mercedes, won a beauty pea gent, own a big business, a classy clinic,
but what right do you have to overlook at others?

Ever imagined entering a restaurant with all your prestigious money and the poor waitress ignores you? What if you called on the garbage man in the morning and he moved on?? What about that small poor nurse whom you may want in a clinic? What if all these none matter people really ignored you at a time of need? Have you ever imagined those circumstances when everybody can be proud with what ever small he contributes to your so big life? Where would you go with you hair so shabby, your expensive dress torn, your child all by you? Where and what would happen if the whole world was only full of your prestigious friends?

Everyday, as you walk down the path of life, imagine what would happen if every small person you meet was to uninterestingly turn down your request. And only then will you learn to listen attentively and live a life that is more modest.
